EVENTS
Don’t wait for the next open event. There is more to LSA than what you see here.
Public events (listed below) are your first look at life behind the lens. Open to everyone, these are your chance to explore our professional studios, try out industry-standard kit, and meet your future collaborators.
But the most exclusive sessions never go public. While the public calendar might look quiet, our applicants are already deep in the industry. Reserved for those on the application journey, recent "Insider" events have included:
• Chatting with David Heyman (Producer of Barbie and Harry Potter).
• 1:1 Workshops to help you nail your LSA interview.
• Full Day Content Masterclasses with TikTok influencers reaching millions.
So what? Registering today doesn't just start your application; it unlocks your 'Insider Calendar'. You’ll receive invites to private events and masterclasses delivered straight to your inbox that you won't find anywhere else.
And when you complete your application, you get even more!
So if you haven’t registered yet, it only takes five minutes…
PUBLIC EVENTS
Information Evening [IN-PERSON]
We know that the Creative Industries and Creative Education can seem like a mystery! You want your young person to follow their passion, but you might not be sure how creative education works or if there are real job opportunities out there. To help you gain more confidence, we are holding an Information Evening to explore these queries.
This event is particularly aimed at young people, parents and carers from backgrounds that have historically been underrepresented within the film and TV industries.*
Join us for a relaxed Information Evening on Thursday, 30th April 18:00 - 19:00 at London Screen Academy.
What we will cover:
LSA: Who are we? What do we do? What does your young person gain from coming here!
Opportunities: From college-specific opportunities to job prospects, we will cover what is available to your young person
Student Support: A clear look at the many types of support we provide to keep your young person on track
Real Jobs: Which companies are actually hiring today, what skills are they looking for and what those roles look like
Proof of Success: Examples of where our recent graduates are working right now
This is always a friendly and informative event with the opportunity to ask as many questions as you wish.
If you want to know how we support your young person, sign up now!
*PLEASE NOTE: This is a London Screen Academy Outreach event. Our Outreach programme is designed to encourage young people who have historically been underrepresented in the FTV industry to learn more about the screen industries. We are open to all attending the event but spaces will be prioritised for young people/parents and carers who have historically been underrepresented in the FTV industry. These are those who are on Free School Meals and those who are from underrepresented ethnic groups (non-white British or mixed race backgrounds).
