Students need:
A minimum of 5 GCSEs at grades 4-9, or other Level 2 equivalents.
LSA expects applicants to have achieved grades 4-9 in English, Maths or both. If you do not achieve your Grade 4 pass at GCSE in either English Language or Literature or Maths, we offer intensive support in preparation for retakes
To demonstrate through both the assessment process and their school report that they have the motivation & capacity for sustained hard work. Applicants must also show that they have the ability, potential and interest necessary to be successful at LSA
LSA is free to attend, but we understand that households may face additional financial pressures. We offer additional discretionary bursaries to ensure that our students are able to reach their full potential.
Admissions process
STAGE 1
Complete an online application form.
STAGE 2
If you are successful in being invited to interview, take part in a telephone interview with a member of the LSA team
STAGE 3
Successful applicants will receive a conditional offer to join the London Screen Academy. Between being made an offer until enrolment, students will be invited in for various events in half terms and/or summer
STAGE 4
GCSE results are released and students enrol at LSA. At Enrolment, a final review of the student’s application alongside GCSE grades, engagement with LSA and the teacher’s reference is completed leading to, if successful, confirmation of a secure place
