Industry access within lsa
MASTERCLASSES
At the London Screen Academy (LSA) we offer Masterclasses as part of our curriculum. These are live sessions with industry guests, across various different departments, roles and career levels within the industry.
Masterclasses are intended to provide students with opportunities to learn from and interact with leading professionals in the film, television, and other screen-based and creative industries.
What sets LSA's Masterclasses apart is our unique approach. We actively encourage and coach our students to take the lead as Masterclass hosts, interviewing the guest speakers, allowing them to develop their skills and confidence in delivering the Masterclasses themselves or with each other as co hosts.
This hands-on experience enhances their learning and provides a truly exceptional opportunity for growth and engagement. Those in the audience are still active participants, as they contribute to the discussions and interact with the guest speakers, fostering a collaborative and immersive learning environment for all involved.

Classroom drop-ins
At the London Screen Academy (LSA), our Classroom Drop-In programme invites industry guests into a more informal, classroom-based setting, offering students the chance to engage in direct conversation and hands-on learning.
Differently to our larger Masterclasses, these sessions are smaller and more flexible - led by the guest and the Film & Television (FTV) teacher; they adapt to the needs of the students in the room. Whether it's a Q&A about career journeys, a deep dive into specific roles or techniques, or a practical demonstration of a guests’ craft, Drop-Ins offer an accessible and dynamic way for students to connect classroom learning to real-world experience.
These sessions are designed to complement day-to-day learning with honest, practical insight from working professionals, creating a valuable space for curiosity, skill-building, and informal mentorship.
INDUSTRY PANEL
The LSA Industry Panel is a collective of experienced professionals from across the creative industries who share a belief in LSA’s mission and values. These individuals have generously committed their time on an ongoing basis to offer insight and guidance that supports the continued development of our curriculum.
While not an unlimited industry resource or a perfect plan, the Industry Panel plays a vital role in helping us ensure that what we teach is meaningfully connected to the real and ever-changing world of work in the screen and creative industries. It is a collaborative space for conversation, reflection, and future-focused thinking, grounded in our shared commitment to the next generation of creative talent.
If you work in the screen or creative industries and are interested in supporting the next generation of talent, we’d love to hear from you.
Whether it’s through speaking at a Masterclass, joining a smaller classroom drop-in, or contributing to our ongoing Industry Panel, there are a number of ways to get involved and share your insights with and for our students.
