Work With Us
We are always looking for new talent!
Take a look at our current vacancies below.
ATTENDANCE MANAGER
Attending LSA is central to our core mission (to diversify the creative industries), and we therefore have an approach that puts students attending at the core of our strategy and build policy, systems and processes that serve the cohorts we want in the school. If we want better outcomes, it is imperative that our students want to, need to, and are able to attend LSA.
The Attendance Manager will lead this agenda across the school, owning the systems, the data and the relationships that drive attendance up at LSA.
This is a role that sits at the intersection of data, relationships and school culture. The Attendance Manager will manage the Attendance and Student Support Officer, produce regular reporting for senior leaders, and be the school’s expert voice on attendance strategy and improvement.
Closing Date: 5:30pm on 12th June 2026
industry converter
The successful candidate will embark upon our teacher training programme for industry converters. You will be based here at London Screen Academy for roughly four days per week, and spend the fifth at our teacher training provider. Your time at LSA would initially involve observing lessons, and then co-planning, co-teaching, and eventually taking responsibility for a number of classes on a reduced timetable. At the end of the programme, you would have a recognised teaching qualification. You would be paid to train, with the salary point on the unqualified teacher pay scale determined by your industry experience.
The role would suit someone with experience in the screen industries who is looking to use their knowledge and skills to educate the next generation of storytellers. In line with our mission, we are particularly keen to hear from industry practitioners who have experience of working with underrepresented groups, or who have worked in areas of the industry that are not currently represented by our staff body.
Closing Date: 5:30pm on 26th June 2026
INTERNAL OPPORTUNITIES
Below are a range of opportunities that are available only for internal candidates currently working at LSA.
LSAx LEAD
We are seeking to appoint an enthusiastic and values driven member of staff to contribute to the development and lead the delivery of the LSAx programme.
The successful candidate will play a key role in growing a high quality enrichment programme that broadens students’ experiences, builds confidence and belonging, and supports their personal and cultural development.
The LSAx Lead will coordinate a wide range of enrichment opportunities including clubs, workshops, projects, trips and events that give students access to new experiences, perspectives and opportunities. The role will focus on increasing student participation, strengthening staff engagement and ensuring all students can access high quality enrichment regardless of background.
Closing Date: 5:30pm on 19th June 2026
EDI Coordinator
At LSA, our commitment to equity, diversity and inclusion is not a policy position, it is central to who we are and what we are trying to build. We serve a diverse student community and we are determined to be a school where every student and member of staff feels genuinely valued, seen and included. That commitment requires dedicated leadership, structured activity and honest reflection.
The EDI Coordinator will lead this work, ensuring that EDI is embedded in everything we do rather than treated as an add-on. Working with staff and students across the school, you will build a clear and honest picture of where LSA is doing well and where it needs to improve and translate that understanding into practical, meaningful action.
This is a role that sits at the heart of our culture. You will run CPD, audit practice, facilitate student voice, and bring your findings directly to SLT in a way that drives real change. The role is open to both teaching and specialist staff, and carries a TLR for teachers or an Additional Responsibility for specialist staff.
Closing Date: 5:30pm on 19th June 2026
Teaching & LEArning Coach (x2)
We are excited to launch the role of T&L coach at LSA. The aim of this role is to strengthen the quality and consistency of teaching and learning across LSA through peer coaching, classroom drop-ins and a defined specialist contribution to school improvement.
Teaching Coaches are experienced practitioners who use their expertise to support colleagues, identify strengths and inconsistencies in classroom practice, and lead development in one agreed specialist area.
Coaching will cover all aspects of planning and classroom delivery, and will be adaptive based on the needs of the teacher in question.
Each coach will also lead a project to develop T&L across the school in one specialist area. The two specialist areas proposed are: Inclusive Teaching, and Artificial Intelligence in Pedagogy and the Curriculum. The exact nature of the interventions in the specialist areas will be agreed with the Assistant Principal for Teaching & Learning.

Experience Days
Are you an experienced professional from the Film & TV industry who is considering teaching as a potential career move?
Are you from a group that is typically underrepresented in the screen industries and/or the teaching profession? If you meet these criteria, then apply here to take part in an Experience Day at LSA.
This is your chance to get to know about teaching as a profession and LSA in particular. You will sit in on some lessons and get to chat to students and teachers. Please note that we are heavily oversubscribed for Experience Days and regret that we cannot respond to all enquiries.
LSA is committed to Equity, Diversity and Inclusion. We are particularly keen to hear from people from groups that are underrepresented in the screen industries and/or the teaching profession.
