Teacher of Film & TV (Practical Media)

We are seeking to appoint an inspirational Film & TV Teacher (Practical Media).

We want you to inspire students to understand and love your subject, achieve great results and become equipped to join the screen industries or progress to higher education when they leave us.

We are keen to hear from people with backgrounds in teaching at secondary or 6th form level, specifically those with experience of teaching on the UAL Extended Diploma or BTEC vocational courses.

We are looking for teachers who are confident in teaching practical media skills, which could include areas such as camera work, editing, production management or development of film and TV projects with post-16 students.

Experience Days

Are you an experienced professional from the Film & TV industry who is considering teaching as a potential career move?

Are you from a group that is typically underrepresented in the screen industries and/or the teaching profession? If you meet these criteria, then apply here to take part in an Experience Day at LSA.

This is your chance to get to know about teaching as a profession and LSA in particular. You will sit in on some lessons and get to chat to students and teachers. Please note that we are heavily oversubscribed for Experience Days and regret that we cannot respond to all enquiries.

LSA is committed to Equity, Diversity and Inclusion. We are particularly keen to hear from people from groups that are underrepresented in the screen industries and/or the teaching profession.
