L4 Film Production
Want to take your filmmaking to the next level? This course is for students who are ready to step into the world of professional production and build the skills the industry demands.
You’ll train as part of a working crew, learning how all elements of filmmaking come together to tell powerful stories.
Along the way, you’ll create short sequences, collaborate on live briefs, and finish the year with a fully funded showcase film as your calling card.
From script to screen
Train as part of a real film crew, specialise in your craft, and finish the year with a fully funded showcase film.
Students on this course study the UAL Level 4 Professional Diploma in Technical and Production Practice for the Creative Industries.
The primary focus of this course is collaborative filmmaking, but you’ll also have the opportunity to specialise in your chosen area of interest, whether that’s production, camera, lighting, sound, post-production, costume, art direction or hair & makeup.
Throughout the year, you’ll develop your understanding of how departments collaborate to bring a project from script to screen. With bespoke mentoring, hands-on industry experience, and the chance to work with professional partners on grading, sound mixing and more, you’ll graduate with the confidence, portfolio and practical know-how to launch your career in film and TV.
