SEND Industry Access
Supporting Every Student’s Path Into Industry
At London Screen Academy, we are committed to making the screen industries accessible to all. Our tailored programmes for students with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND) are designed to build confidence, unlock potential, and create real pathways into work.
-
SEND Industry Support Programme
Our SEND Industry Support Programme helps students with additional needs access meaningful and inclusive work experience placements and other industry opportunities, such as trips and workshops.
Together, these programmes are part of our broader mission to ensure that all students, regardless of need, can thrive, contribute, and succeed in the creative industries.
-
Work Experience
We work closely with students to understand their individual strengths and aspirations, creating bespoke placements with organisations that are committed to inclusive practice. These placements are carefully designed to be supportive, engaging, and relevant—giving students real insight into the world of work and a chance to build valuable industry connections.

Employability & Professionalism Programme
For selected students, we also offer the Employability and Professionalism Programme - a focused initiative that supports personal development and workplace readiness. Through a combination of workshops, talks, and networking sessions with industry professionals, students are encouraged to grow in confidence, develop their communication skills, and feel proud speaking about their strengths and talents. Participants are also supported in creating an industry-standard access passport, used to communicate any adjustments they may need when starting a job.
