Industry Engagement at LSA
What makes LSA unique is our collaborative partnership with Industry practitioners. We offer masterclasses, practical workshops, industry mentors, classroom drop-ins, work experience, internships, career guidance and a pathway into the industry for all our students.
Work Experience
At LSA, our strong industry connections give Year 2 students exclusive access to hands-on experience before graduation. Through our Work Experience Programme, you’ll step onto real sets and into top kit rental houses like ARRI Camera House, working on productions ranging from Slow Horses, SILO to Made in Chelsea, and The Chase.
Whether it's a one-day shoot or a two-week placement, you'll build your network, boost your skills, and gain a real edge in the industry.
We’re always looking to bring the industry closer to our students. If you’d like to share your behind-the-scenes insights or offer work experience opportunities, our Industry Team would love to hear from you. Your expertise could help shape the next generation of screen talent.

Mentoring
In Year 2, you’ll have the chance to apply for the LSA Mentorship Programme - a unique opportunity to be personally mentored by professionals actively working in film and TV. Over five months, you'll gain tailored, one-on-one advice, build confidence, and sharpen your industry knowledge.
Our mentors don’t just guide from the sidelines - students have shadowed them on-set on major productions like Bridgerton, Red Eye, and more. Many mentorships turn into long-term professional relationships, with some students even securing jobs through their mentors after graduation.
